Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). When you use the service, we store the shell commands you generate so they appear in your command history.
We do not collect any information beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Shell Fetch service
- To display your command history within your account
- To improve the quality and accuracy of generated commands
- To communicate with you about your account if necessary
What We Don't Do
- We do not collect telemetry or usage analytics beyond basic service operation
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not use your commands to train AI models
Authentication
We use Supabase Auth to handle user authentication. Your password is never stored directly by Shell Fetch — it is managed securely by Supabase's authentication infrastructure. We only receive your email address and a session token.
Data Retention
Your generated commands are stored in your account history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including your command history — will be permanently removed. You may also request data deletion at any time by contacting us.
Cookies
Shell Fetch uses session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookie-based analytics.

You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Delete — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export — Request an export of your data in a portable format
- Rectify — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
